Barbara Mueller started teaching adults around 25 years ago privately and through adult education programs; then in 2011, she taught courses at national and international conferences for many years. Since 2013, she has taught at the college level, with students ranging from ages 18 through the 70’s from all demographics and many foreign countries. As a practicing glass artist and designer, she has also instructed in many areas - art, history, and interior design. Her undergraduate BFA degree is in Studio Art History; then she earned an MFA in Interior Design, leading to teaching in college Interior Design departments. At the Art Institute of Houston, which has a 4-year BFA program, she taught the History of Architecture, Interiors and Furniture, reawakening her fascination and interest in the art, history, and cultures of ancient civilizations.
